Form Through Process

As I begin the process I discover the form of the vessel each finding it's shape and character through the rhythm of the hammer.

By using hammer chasing and chisel. The surface is transformed into decorative relief and texture.

Finally bespoke finishes, patina and gilding is used to bring deep texture and colour to the vessel.

I work with collectors, interior designers and architects to develop bespoke vessels for private collections and distinctive interiors.

Scale, proportion and finish can be explored to create a piece that responds to its setting.
